Why "For Planet Health?"
I am an advocate For the Health of our Planet and For
Your Health. How we each live our lives affects the
health of the earth. How we eat affects our health, and
the health of the earth.
I address these issues in two of my shows: Fitness For Life and Into the Rainforest.
Individually we can't solve ALL the earth's problems.
But we each can do SOMETHING. By eating and drinking
healthy you are in effect helping yourself, and helping
the earth at the same time. I had to learn the hard way.
When I was in my 20's, I contracted Chron's disease,
high cholesterol, and had borderline high blood
pressure. Today at age 53 I don't take any pills. There
is a saying: "The exact opposite of gluttony is not
starvation, its simply eating wisely."
I have learned how to eat wisely.

How long would you like to live? You must educate
yourself as to what is healthy for you, and what is not.
Before you eat or drink, ask yourself, "Is this healthy
for me? Will this help me to live longer, or promote
disease? Does what I'm eating or drinking promote the
Earth's health?"
When you eat foods that are "alive" such as sprouts, raw
vegetables, and raw fruit, think of it this way: You're
putting that "life", into you. These plant foods that
are alive and uncooked are the healthiest foods for you.
Try to make them the foundation of your diet.

The rainforests of the world are said to be "the lungs
of the Earth", because of all the oxygen they provide.
Every second that goes by, one football field worth of
rainforest trees is cleared. Every hour: 3,600. Every
year: 31,536,000 football fields. That is alarming. As
human population increases so does demand for rainforest
products. Not to mention the diminishing populations of
all the wonderful species of creatures who call
rainforests their homes.
"In the web of life, we are all connected. For lack of a
cooperative effort, with many factions considering only
their needs, we are jeopardizing the world's greatest
storehouse of biological resources and one of the
planet's critical climate control systems. It is only
through the development of a thoughtful, coordinated
policy of management that the fate of rainforests will
be a positive one."
