In
the web of life, we are all connected. How we live our
lives directly affects rainforests, which are the
"lungs" of our planet. Into the Rainforest is a program
that teaches what we can each do to help save them. Greg
Kaler presents a wonderful, professional slide show on
rainforest animals, followed by a short DVD movie from
Rainforest Action Network, followed by group discussion.
Greg also brings 3 interesting types of solar cookers to
display. This program will leave the audience with a
sense of wonder for the rainforests of the world, a
sense of urgency to help save them, and hope for the
future.
What people are saying:
We enjoyed Greg's Into the Rainforest program very much.
His slide show and mini movie were very special and
helped the students understand how important our
rainforests are. Our students were intrigued with his
solar cookers. Now they all want to have their own!
Its
great to see someone providing this valuable message to
our young people.
